How Absentee Ballots Reshaped N.H. Voting Patterns
New Hampshire’s state primary in September 2020 offered the first glimpse into how newly expanded absentee eligibility might reshape voting patterns ahead of the November 2020 general election. As soon as the data was available post-primary, I crunched the numbers to create a series of charts illustrating those shifts, including this interactive map and searchable table. Two months later, I followed up with a similar data dive as soon as turnout numbers were available following the general election.
